Technically, there is no Surface Pro 5 on the Microsoft Surface lineup. There is, however, a fifth-generation Surface Pro released in 2017, known as Surface Pro 2017, which is the basis of the specs below and what some refer to as Surface Pro 5.
Surface Pro 5 is designed with rounded edges, a deeper hinge, and a more flexible kickstand so that one can lay the device flatter. It features Intel® Core seventh-generation m3, i5, and i7, featuring higher clock speeds than those of Surface Pro 4. For the lowest-priced configuration, you get a Core m3 with a 128 GB internal storage and a 4 GB RAM. The Core m3 and i5 CPU options are fanless.
The Windows 10 device promises up to 13.5 hours of battery life; its LTE Advanced model, up to 12.5 hours.
