Introduced in 2018, the sixth generation of the Microsoft Surface Pro series counts Intel®’s eighth-generation Core i5 and Core i7 as its CPU. The chipset is said to perform 67 percent better than what’s on the 2017 Surface Pro. An entry-level configuration has an 8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage, and an Intel® Core i5 CPU.
Surface Pro 6 also boasts of long battery life and enters into different power consumption modes when the device is charging or not. The standard Surface Pro 6 runs on Windows 10 Home while its Business counterpart has Windows 10 Pro.
The sixth generation of Surface Pro was well-received, with some hoping it had a USB-C port.
